Summary

About ballet

“The Birth of a Ballerina” is the second performance of the Odessa Opera for Children! Program, which will help young viewers to plunge into the mysterious and magical world of art! Previously, the theater has already presented the audience with the play “A Journey to the Orchestra”, when in an interesting, fabulous form, the theater artists told little theater-goers about the orchestra and musical instruments, the conductor and the conductor’s baton. This educational and entertainment program continues. Traveling to the Orchestra, exploring the world of ballet and opera, surprises and musical discoveries await you. The main goal of the project is to expand the children’s repertoire, to attract children and youth to the best examples of world art, and thus the theater carefully “grows” its future adult fans! Difficulties need to be told cheerfully in order to conquer the most sincere, benevolent and restless – children’s audience! The ability to find the key to the hearts of children is a special gift, doubly invaluable when it comes to such a complex topic as classical art, for example, BALLET. This requires a non-standard approach, moreover, a special talent! The fairy tale extravaganza “The Birth of a Ballerina” is an exciting story about the path to the realization of the cherished dream of little girl Anna, who wished to become a ballerina. The performance will feature bright and easy-to-understand excerpts from famous ballets by Pyotr Tchaikovsky and choreographic miniatures to music by Robert Schumann, Leo Delibes, Camille Saint-Saens. For the performance of the main part the theater invited the students of the exemplary ensemble of classical dance “Fuete” of the Children’s School of Arts No. 4 – Christina Inkina, Tamila Baranova and Ksenia Kavetskaya. The roles of adult heroes will be performed by ballet dancers of the Odessa Theater, who are enthusiastically preparing the future premiere.
