Heritage.UA – outstanding opera and symphonic works of Ukrainian composers

We have prepared for you a whole box of jewels from the treasury of Ukrainian music: arias and duets from the operas "Bogdan Khmelnytsky", "Nazar Stodolya" by K. Dankevych, "Stolen Happiness" by M. Lysenko, "Milan" by G. Mayboroda, orchestral works by M. Skoryk, A. Kos-Anatolsky, L. Kolodub.

On December 26 at 6.30 pm you will find touching, heroic, romantic works performed by the Odessa Opera Orchestra conducted by Vitaliy Kovalchuk in combination with exquisite dance art performed by leading artists of the theater's ballet troupe: Honored Artist of Ukraine Serhiy Dotsenko and Anastasia Korno. The concert features young talented soloists of the theater: Anastasia Golub, Maryna Naimytenko, Alina Tkachuk, Taisiya Shafranska, Viktor Shevchenko, Oleg Zlakoman, Bohdan Panchenko, Oleksandr Stryuk.

This program is exceptional and unique in that it contains outstanding opera and symphonic works by Ukrainian composers of the 19th and 20th centuries. Pavel Koshka's fresh directorial decision in synthesis with modern art design by Igor Anisenko, lighting design by Svitlana Kaganovich and videography by Ruslan Isaulenko will create a completely new look at Ukrainian musical traditions.
