By Order of the Ministry of Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine dated 15.07.2025 No. 1151, amendments have been approved to the List of territories where hostilities are (were) ongoing or which are temporarily occupied by the Russian Federation.
In accordance with these changes, the Odesa City Territorial Community has been included in the List.

The Odesa National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre presents a new artistic project – the First International Opera Singers Competition “RECITAR CANTANDO” (“Acting through Singing”), which will take place for the first time in September 2025 on our legendary stage.
The First International Opera Singers Competition RECITAR CANTANDO is a unique platform for opera singers from various countries, offering effective opportunities to showcase their talent, establish creative connections, exchange professional experience, and open prospects for professional growth.
The competition is funded by the Odesa National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre in collaboration with the Embassy of Italy in Ukraine, the Honorary Consulate of Italy in Odesa, the Italian Cultural Institute in Ukraine, and the production agency “Opera Production C.D.” (Austria), with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications of Ukraine, Odesa Regional Military Administration, Odesa Regional Council, Odesa City Council, and the Odesa National Music Academy named after A. V. Nezhdanova.
The competition program includes arias from Ukrainian and Italian opera classics. The artistic forum will conclude with a gala concert featuring laureates, diploma recipients, and invited stars. Details are available in the Competition Regulations.
