She is a winner of the Antonín Dvořák’s International Singing Competition, Bologna International Vocal Competition, Prize IFAC HANDA Australian Singing Competition – Audience Prize. In 2021 she won 1st Prize Nomea Competition and a title «The Best Opera Singer».
She is a soloist of Deutsche Oper am Rhein, The National Theatre in Prague, The Slovak National Theater Vienna State Opera. She has performed in the Czech Republic, Germany, Switzerland and England with the South Bohemian Philharmonic, Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra, Czechoslovakia chamber orchestra, Karlovy Vary Symphony Orchestra, Thüringen Philharmonie, Lucerne Artists Orchestra.
Lucie Kaňková is especially admired in Mozart soprano roles such as Queen of the night, Susanna, Fiordiligi, Zaide as well as a performer of belcanto roles and last season she debuted as Violetta and her first Gilda is coming soon. Her musicality and secure intonation led her to the barocco repertoire (Poppea, oratorios by Bach and Vivaldi). Her acting, dancing and language abilites allow her to enrich her concert performances with operetta pieces as well (Giuditta, Adele).
The singer's repertoire includes leading works of the coloratura opera repertoire of V. A Mozart, G. Verdi, C. Monteverdi and others. Much attention is paid to baroque music.
