INFORMATION NOTICE ABOUT THE COMPETITION

Odessa National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater announces a competition to fill vacant positions of artists of the orchestra of the highest category (percussion group), first category (group of first violins and group of violas), second category (group of second violins and group of cellos)

Date and place of the competition: December 09, 2020, Odessa National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater (Odessa, Tchaikovsky Lane, 1)

Qualification requirements for applicants:

- for an orchestra artist of the highest category - higher education in the relevant professional field at the educational and qualification level of master, specialist; work experience in the profession of orchestra artist of the 1st category not less than 3 years;

- for an orchestra artist of the 1st category - higher education in the relevant professional field at the educational and qualification level of master, specialist, bachelor; for master and specialist - without work experience requirements, for bachelor work experience in the profession of orchestra artist of the 2nd category not less than 3 years;

- for an orchestra artist of the 2nd category - higher education of the relevant professional direction at the educational and qualification level of master, specialist, bachelor, junior specialist without work experience requirements;

To participate in the competition, applicants submit the following documents:

- statement in any form;

- personnel record card with a pasted photo;

- a copy of an identity document;

- a copy of the employment record book (if available);

- a copy of the document on education in the relevant specialty;

- creative resume.

Employees who are in an employment relationship with the theater and participate in the competition, submit to the competition commission only an application for participation in the competition.

The applicant is responsible for the inaccuracy of the documents.

The competition is held in one day in two stages:

The first stage of the competition is the consideration of the documents submitted by the applicants.

The second stage of the competition consists of two rounds.

The first round - the implementation of the mandatory program:

for violin:

WA Mozart - concerto №3, №4, №5 (optional) first part with cadence (accompanied by piano);

for viola:

FA Hoffmeister - concerto for viola, first part with cadence.

for cello:

I. Haydn - concert №1 in C major (1 part), №2 in D major, 1h. (accompanied by a piano);

for percussion instruments:

Timpani: A.Cirone - sonata for timpani

Xylophone: G. Chernenko - "Vinaigrette"

The second round - reading of orchestral parts of opera and ballet current repertoire of the theater.

Score (violin, viola, cello)

The theater does not pay for travel and accommodation.

In the case of concluding a contract with the winners of the competition, the theater does not provide housing.
