On February 6, as part of the festival" Winter Promenade at the Odessa Opera ", the choir of the Opera House will present Odessa and all fans of classical music a large concert program" Choral Vernissage. Classical heritage ». This event will open a series of concerts of our group under the general name "Choral Vernissage", in which the opera choir will be presented as an independent concert unit. The main goal of the project is to show all the variety of choral music of different genres and epochs, from opera and cantata - oratorio to a cappella spiritual music of small forms! The program of the first concert "Classical Heritage" will feature "Coronation Mass" by V.-A. Mozart in 1 department and the best choral scenes from the world opera repertoire in 2 departments.
Planning the whole cycle of concerts within the project "Choral Vernissage", work is already underway to prepare programs for the next at least three concerts, which will feature baroque music, works by popular contemporary composers J. Rutter, K. Jenkins and much more.
The entire creative team of the famous, world-famous choir of the Odessa Opera House is looking forward to meeting with the people of Odessa at the premiere concert on February 6 and hopes that this initiative will find a response in the hearts of true fans of classical music!
