Principal conductor
Honoured Artist of Ukraine

Graduated from the Vasyl Barvinsky Drogobych Music College (Faculty of Choir Conducting, 1998), the Mykola Lysenko Lviv National Music Academy (2003), and completed postgraduate studies at the same institution.

 

In 2002, he became a laureate of the All-Ukrainian Mykola Leontovych Choral Competition and participated in choir festivals both in Ukraine and abroad, including in Warsaw, Gdańsk (Poland), and Wiltz (Luxembourg).

 

He worked as the director of the folk song and dance ensemble “Cheremosh” and as a conductor of the State Choir “Trembita”.

 

From 2 January 2004 to 30 November 2019, he worked as the principal choirmaster of the Lviv National Opera.

 

As a producing conductor, he produced: “Straszny Dwór” by S. Moniuszko, “Un Ballo in Maschera” by G. Verdi, “Carmina Burana” by C. Orff, “Die Lustige Witwe” by F. Lehár, “Cavalleria Rusticana” by P. Mascagni, “L’Elisir d’Amore” and “Don Pasquale” by G. Donizetti, the Christmas performance “God is with Us!” and “When the Fern Blooms” by Y. Stankovych, “Lohengrin” by R. Wagner and others.

 

He has toured in Poland, Switzerland, and Luxembourg.
