Chief Stage Designer of the Theatre
Honored Worker of Culture of Ukraine

From 1978 to 1982, he studied at the Samokish Crimean Art College (graduated in 1982) and later at the Lviv National Academy of Applied and Decorative Arts, in the Monumental Painting Studio of Professor Yevhen Lysyk (graduated in 1993).

Since 1983, he has participated in exhibitions in Ukraine and abroad; his works are held in private collections.

He is the author of stage designs for productions at the National Opera of Ukraine, including the operas Rigoletto by G. Verdi (1997), Carmen by G. Bizet (2001), Faust by C. Gounod (2005), Norma by V. Bellini (2007), as well as the ballets Pictures at an Exhibition by M. Mussorgsky and The Rite of Spring by I. Stravinsky (2002).

Since 2006, he has been a permanent designer for the Kyiv Modern Ballet Theatre.

He has worked as a production designer at the Kyiv Municipal Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre for Children and Youth, the Ivan Franko National Academic Drama Theatre, the National Philharmonic of Ukraine, the M. Jalil Tatar Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre, and the Macedonian Opera and Ballet Theatre.
